About Me

Hi everyone, my name is Daniel Barba, and I’m your Guitar Guy! I’m a native of Prescott, born here in 1976 and raised here too. I love to play and work on guitars!

For many years now, I have had the great privilege of playing lead and rhythm guitar with the worship team of Calvary Chapel of Prescott. I certainly appreciate the sound and feel of a guitar that is built well, properly setup and nice looking. In fact, the pursuit and quest of a sweet guitar tone and smooth play-ability is what eventually led me to working on guitars full time. Over the last 20+ years I have worked on thousands of guitars and yet I still enjoy it and continue to challenge myself to do better and better.

One of the greatest things about my job, is making satisfied, and loyal customers. I never get tired of watching a customer sit down and play an instrument that I’ve worked on, whether it be a guitar, mandolin, ukulele, or whatever, and seeing the satisfaction and delight on their faces, hearing it in their voices, in their words and in their playing, because of my work.

 

I often tell people; “Yes, I have to charge for my work, but watching the faces of satisfied customers is a big reward in and of itself.”  

 

So again, a very special thanks to all of my great customers. I look forward to making you guys happy again and again. There’s no way I could do this without you guys!
